Twenty-first century children are growing up in a crazy-paced world, with the stresses of busy home life and over-stimulating media and toys At Victoria Montessori, we create harmony and the right balance. 3 to 4:30pm - learn through play, socio/dramatic. 2 to 3pm - outside time together, free play with equipment, tending to garden. 1:30 to 2pm - clean up and personal hygiene. 12 to 1:30pm - nutritious lunch time. 11:30 to 12am - circle. Working in various areas such as language, sensorial, science, math, and practical life. A typical day for the children consists of: 8 to 11:30am - Montessori curriculum. With a teacher to child ratio of 1:8 and a maximum class size of 25 children, your child's individual learning needs are our priority. Program: For your convenience, 8am to 5pm (closed for standard holidays, Monday to Friday, we are open all year, two weeks at Christmas and one week for Spring Break). And the best place to start is in our community. One of the most important values we teach the children is respect for the environment. We do not want to crush it at any cost. Enthusiasm is a precious commodity but it cannot be bought - children have it instinctively. These values build confidence, and self-expression, self-esteem, vital for emotional and mental health. The directresses model respect for the environment, respect for others, and respect for oneself. At preschool age, while they enjoy a relaxed and calm atmosphere-not a strictly regimented one. At Victoria Montessori, so providing a prepared environment with purposeful activities and materials helps children to focus their attention, children's imaginations are vivid, we build a strong foundation and strong values. We try to cultivate self-awareness, confidence, and calm amid the "moving sea of chaos". 4:30 to 5pm - getting ready for home.
